ELIZABETH HACKETT
EXECUTIVE CHAIR

Elizabeth Hackett is a distinguished Queensland tourism operator with a career spanning nearly three decades. Since joining the Adventure Tourism Group (AATG) in 1995, she has cultivated enduring relationships with government and industry leaders at all levels.

Throughout her 29-year tenure with AATG, Elizabeth has held senior management positions in the hospitality industry across both Australia and New Zealand. She currently serves as Chair of Judges for the Queensland Tourism Awards and actively contributes as a mentor in the Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) Young Achiever Program. Additionally, she is a member of the Board of Tourism Whitsundays, where she also holds the role of Secretary. Elizabeth remains a steadfast advocate for the tourism sector at both the regional and state levels.

In recognition of her significant contributions to the industry, Elizabeth was honoured with the Bob Porter Award for Outstanding Contribution to Tourism at the 2022 Whitsundays Tourism Awards.

On May 30, 2017, Elizabeth was appointed as a Director and elected as Chair of AATG. She continues to champion best practices in tourism, with a strong focus on fostering growth in eco-tourism and promoting opportunities for Indigenous tourism.

NATHAN LEMAN
DIRECTOR

Nathan is an experienced project and construction manager, as well as a registered commercial builder, with nearly 30 years of hands-on expertise in property  planning, including acquisitions, property sub-divisions, operations, infrastructure upgrades and management for both commercial and residential developments.

Currently, Nathan is focused on securing initial investors and obtaining the detailed planning and design approvals required for the greenfield Whitsunday Skyway Project in the Whitsundays. Nathan oversees property and related projects for the AATG. As a long-time local of the Whitsundays and a member of AATG for over 20 years, Nathan effectively leverages his extensive local knowledge and project management skills through a well-established network at both regional and state levels.

Nathan’s significant expertise has been instrumental in acquiring and the improvement of substantial agricultural land holdings in Victoria and leading the design and approval processes for food production facilities, and the implementation of technology solutions across the various organizations with which he has worked.

Nathan has served as a long-term director of the AATG, the Income Asset Management Group, and subsidiary companies of other ASX-listed entities, where he held the roles of Responsible Manager and Key Person on ASIC-issued Australian Financial Services Licences.

KERRY DALY
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Kerry is an experienced public company director, having served on ten public company Boards over the 32 years, in executive and non-executive roles.

Kerry is a Certified Practicing Accountant with a practical knowledge of ASX business rules, governance procedures, Australian Accounting Standards, and the Corporations Act, and their application to corporate decision-making.

Kerry’s professional experience covers capital markets, including IPOs, structured debt raisings, securitisation of receivables, and corporate restructuring solutions that provide capital optimisation outcomes that establish a foundation for future business growth.

The Whitsunday Skyway proposal offers a world-class opportunity to showcase the Whitsunday Islands and the Conway National Park and promote the forest landscape, natural environmental and cultural heritage values of the National Park.
